KNOWLEDGE RELATIONSHIP AND COMMUNITY ATTITUDE WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE HEALTH PROTOCOL COVID 19 AT MANNA CITY PUSKESMAS
Knowledge, Attitude, Implementation of the Covid-19 Health Protocol
Abstrak
Covid-19 is a disease caused by a new type of Covid-19 and has never been identified in humans before. The purpose of the study was to study the relationship between knowledge and public attitudes with the application of the covid 19 health protocol in the Work Area of the Manna City Health Center, South Bengkulu Regency. The type of research in this research is descriptive analytic by using cross sectional research. The population in this study was the community who visited the Manna City Health Center from January to October 2021 as many as 1,283 people. Sampling research using the technique of Accidental Sampling that is 93 people. Univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test (X2). The results of the univariate analysis are that there are 33 respondents (35.5%) by implementing the Covid 19 health protocol well, 39 respondents (41.9%) having good knowledge, 64 respondents (68.8%) having a positive attitude. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the -value of knowledge with the application of the covid 19 health protocol was 0.000 < (0.05) and the -value of the relationship between public attitudes and the application of the COVID-19 health protocol was 0.021 < (0.05). It was concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge and the application of the covid 19 health protocol in the community in the Manna City Health Center Work Area and there was a relationship between community attitudes and the implementation of the COVID 19 health protocol in the Manna City Health Center Work Area. It is hoped that the Puskesmas through the midwife as the spearhead of health services to respondents who visit can provide counseling to increase knowledge about the importance of implementing health protocols.
