Participation in Posyandu visits remains an important indicator of the success of monitoring child growth and development. Low attendance may be influenced by several factors, including mothers’ knowledge about Posyandu. This study aimed to determine the relationship between mothers’ knowledge of Posyandu and participation in Posyandu visits among children aged 13–59 months at Posyandu Nusa Indah 3, Rejosari Primary Health Center, Pringsewu Regency. This quantitative study used an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample consisted of 66 mothers selected using total sampling. Mothers’ knowledge was measured using a questionnaire, while participation was assessed from Posyandu registration records. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test at α = 0.05. The results showed that 27 respondents (40.9%) had good knowledge, 23 (34.8%) had moderate knowledge, and 16 (24.2%) had poor knowledge. A total of 45 respondents (68.2%) were active in Posyandu visits, while 21 (31.8%) were not active. The Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between mothers’ knowledge and participation in Posyandu visits (p = 0.002; p < 0.05). Mothers, health workers, and Posyandu cadres are encouraged to strengthen health education and information regarding the benefits of regular Posyandu attendance.
